Hi! I'm Cathy and I've always enjoyed stitching of all kinds. My first passion was counted cross-stitch, then came crochet, and finally I discovered the joys of quilting. I've created over 1,000 beautiful heirloom quality quilts for family, friends and neighbors and hope you will find one that you like on these website pages.
From fun mini quilts that brighten up a small wall or your desk at home or at work, to runners, placemats and candlemats as well as wall hangings and bed-sized quilts that will be enjoyed and passed down from generation to generation, quilts can lift your spirit as well as keep you warm!
I'm located in Maryland just outside of Washington, D.C. and ship quilts and crocheted afghans anywhere in the United States or around the world. All my creations are made of high quality materials and all are machine washable in cold water and gently machine dryable at low temperature. All quilts are made in a smoke-free environment and, while we have several wonderful and talented cats, none of them is involved in the production of the quilts! All of these quilts are meant to be used and enjoyed by real people in real homes for many years to come!
Many of the quilts have specific themes, like holidays or weddings or cats and other animals. Some of my most popular quilts are soft, cuddly quilts for babies. Teenagers seem to like flannel quilts and matching pillows with designs from their favorite sport. Quilted table runners and candlemats can be elegant or fun and you can change them as the seasons change or your mood changes! The possibilities are endless!
There are so many great materials available now as well as new and exciting techniques -- the opportunity to create something special for people who will use and appreciate it for years to come is a lot of fun.
